LIVE World Population Counter
Game Introduction
YOU MUST HAVE THE SCRATCHER RANK TO SEE THE COUNTER! NEW SCRATCHERS OR GUESTS CANNOT VIEW THE PROJECT PROPERLY! It uses cloud variables. This is a (sort of) live counter for the world's population. It's powered by the data from Worldometers, using a very hacky bridge between a PhantomJS browser and the Scratch cloud variables running on my server. Here's how it works: worldometers.info --> PhantomJS Browser --(websocket)--> Python Tornado --(scratchapi)--> Scratch Thanks to @Dylan5797 for making scratchapi! (https://github.com/Dylan5797/scratchapi) Currently, the server may be very unstable, so if it goes down, please let me know in the comments.
How To Play
YES, I KNOW THE SERVER IS DOWN! PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT "SERVER DOWN." Due to changes to the Scratch cloud data service, this project is no longer working.
