How To Play

This is pretty much a continuation of this project that I made last year: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/868040681/ In that, I was essentially asking for advice/feedback on one of the characters I’ve created for Stars And Shadows (a sequel I’ve planned for FitD). She’s blind, and is the first major character I’ve made who has a disability (Mistwhisper — RiverClan’s med cat — is mute, but they’re a minor character and have only appeared once in FitD). The feedback I got on that project was pretty positive, but a few days ago, I figured out a way of actually describing the character arc I have in mind in a way that doesn’t actually spoil the story, so I wanted to kinda double-check with y’all. As I said in the original project, I know not to portray their disability as some sort of tragic thing. Nowhere in her story is she going to be trying to “overcome” her disability or anything like that. She knows that she’s still capable of being a warrior. The problem will be that she feels as though everyone else doesn’t know/believe that, and her feeling like her clan is essentially babying her. This will eventually lead her to doing possibly dangerous things in order to try to show her potential to her clan, which will end up leading her and the other protagonists into trouble and cause some conflict. And in the end, she has to understand that she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone, and that there are people who believe in her and all that jazz. Basically, I just wanna know if this feels like a decent story thread. Tbh, I’m not entirely sure how well this description actually depicts her story, but again, if I were to go into detail, it would be major spoilers for Stars And Shadows. And again, there will be more to her than just her disability. Even before we dive into her conflict, there will be scenes of her having fun and doing other things. And the conflict is more than just about her disability, it’s also related to self-esteem issues and whatnot
