spop opinions

Game Introduction

How To Play

heyyyy im back from my hiatus and i bring to you this extremely unaesthetic project have a meelo (i drew this while the rv was moving so i got really carsick lol) -SPOP opinions- This is going to be very unorganized but as a new spop-er, these are my raw, honest, personal opinions. 1. I think people are joining too many companies. And by too many companies I just mean more than they can handle. I get that being able to join multiple companies at the same time is a defining feature of spop that differentiates it from kpop but honestly I don't know if the old way isn't the better way. It kind of clogs up the whole system when you've joined like ten different companies and you're swamped with lines and things to do. It just gets to the point where nobody can get anything out smoothly- or at least way later than scheduled. (Obviously generalizing but you get the idea- and i think it could get up to this point if it keeps going like this). I think it would be better if we were only under one, maybe max two companies. I think everything would run so much smoother- and plus I feel like that would be a better way for companies to grow and nurture a closer-knit community like what they have in kpop- with their junior and senior artists. That's opposed to just recording lines and not knowing who the heck else is in this company- the company that I kind of forget the name of because I've joined so many lol And even if you applied to several, I think it would be better to just choose those two that you'll think you'll enjoy/grow in the most, and then turn down the others. Anyway yeah. At this point I don't even know what companies I've joined lollll 2. I think a lot of people have brought this up but I'm bringing it up again. I get that a lot of us are young, most of us haven't received vocal training, and this is all just a fun hobby. But I think this fun hobby could be a learning experience for a musical journey, where we can learn from each other and help improve our weaknesses. I've only been active in spop for about a month. But one recurring thing that I see is the nature of the comments on spop releases. I get that supporting and encouraging are both good things, but could there be too much of a sweet thing? Some of the releases I've heard, and I'm not shading but, they're straight up off-tune, off-beat, muffled mics, and the comments are all like 'SLAYYYYY' 'girlie/besitie ATE' 'SO GOOD' 'WHY IS THIS SO AMAZING' I'm not saying we should bash them or directly say that their singing needs work. (I don't especially approve of unsolicited criticism) But i don't especially believe in lying to their faces either.( I am aware that to some people's standards those kind of releases could actually be viewed as good, but like- that's somewhat besides the point. ) I don't really have an idea of what to do in these instances. I just don't say anything, personally. (I was raised in a 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it' kind of households) I think giving encouraging words like praising improvement, if there is some, and celebrating the release, is good. 3. dang some of you are like legit babies- i think i saw an 8 year old and ' the woman was too stunned to speak ' I'm not saying we should put an age limit on spop/kpop but I am slightly concerned about the type of music that kids are being exposed too. And maybe it's just the way I was raised (i am a Christian) but I'm just sitting here listening to 12 year olds swear in songs like they do it everyday and I'm just like : > wut and especially if there is an official clean version released (ok yes i am talking about lsfm 'easy' in particular) like- Concerning, to say the least, but this is probably the most subjective point I have on here. Like what happened to censoring- I get that kidbopz and the Christian censoring thing is kinda cringe but still- NEWS FLASH: you don't have to swear to fit in or to sound cool. Ok that's it byyee If you read all of this I am impressed
