How To Play

- Puppets of Sorrow - A little piece of art + deep dive on Moorwhisker and Crashstar, talking about their past experiences and what led them to making the choices they did, along with the similarities between these two twisted characters! !! WARNING: Below are TSOAS spoilers and mentions of character death + sacrifice !! - Moorwhisker - Ever since he was a kit, Moorwhisker was easily the most ambitious of his siblings. He looked up to Crashstar and how she kept CliffClan safe, and often followed her around camp to better experience a leader’s role in the Clan. When Leopardsong took him and Thrushpaw away to tell them about the sacrificial traditions of CliffClan, Moorwhisker was shocked but chose the path of loyalty to his Clan, unlike his brother. Crashstar knew how ambitious and dedicated Moorwhisker was, and used this knowledge to turn Moorwhisker against his brother, telling him that if Thrushpaw questioned the sacrifice, he’d be endangering the entire Clan. After Thrushpaw’s death, Moorwhisker has been shoving away his guilt, telling himself it was for the Clan. - Crashstar - Crashstar had first-hand experience with the curse of CliffClan. When she was a warrior, she lost her twin sister to the curse and watched many of her clanmates die around her. She used her grief and fear of the curse to motivate her to become deputy and then leader. She swore she’d do everything in her power to make sure the curse never fell upon her Clan again, and when she saw Moorwhisker’s similar dedication, she knew despite how wrong it was, she could use this to her advantage. As she turned Moorwhisker against his brother, she convinced herself it was to protect CliffClan, and that Thrushpaw was a threat to her Clan.
