You can watch it here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1071096649 so I was thinking about that minecraft movie and I wondered what I would make if I wanted to make a minecraft movie. I would not be the correct person to make a modern day minecraft movie. I just don't know enough about the lore these days, but I loved playing Minecraft when it came out. I wasn't allowed to play it at home, but one of my best friends had it so I would play it whenever I went to his house. The og years of minecraft still holds a lot of nostalgia for me. So I wanted to come up with a minecraft movie that I would have loved watching back in the 2010s. I have a story concept in mind, but I want to introduce it with a short animation on my main account. So in the meantime, here's my character refs for the little animation I'm making. Alex is the protagonist with her pet cat named Wither. Steve will join her as a mentor/ father figure. Idk lol these characters already have designs so this is basically a fan fiction/fan art for minecraft. (can't believe that trailer got me to make a fan project for the first time in almost a decade...) Anyway, by doing this I'm doing exactly what mojang wants by sharing that movie trailer: opening their game for the first time in a year and making content that can serve to draw more attention to it. Honestly, I don't care about the current movie. It looks boring. It's probably not going to be good, but it's for the most general audience possible so that's to be expected. At the end of the day, this movie's not for me. So this is my attempt at making something that is.
