Fanart based on an EA theory/AU The AU: Volepaw goes so far from Starclan that she ends up in the dark forest. This far from Starclan's center, the healing power is so weak it can barely hold her together. Volepaw decides to head back, but easily gets lost in the forest, which is designed to keep anyone from finding the way to Starclan. Volepaw can feel the healing power unraveling, and begins desperately running through the forest, trying to escape before it fades completely. EA's dark forest borders ToPH's dark forest. Volepaw, barely able to see at this point, unknowingly charges across the border. Crossing into ToPH shatters the last remnants of Starclan's healing power, and Volepaw's body dissolves into pure flowers. Volepaw herself dies when this happens, her spirit absorbed by the flowers. Fueled by Volepaw's wanderlust and desperation, these flowers begin spreading across the dark forest, swallowing anything in their path. The cats who are nearby when they get overcome by the flowers turn into the yellow cat creatures seen in some of the ToPH chapters, but cats that are too far from the source simply fall asleep. This picture is of Volepaw as she crosses the border.
