Updates in comments. 2024年アメリカ選挙結果配信(更新必要) Whichever color gets to 270 wins. Final results will take several hours, maybe days. The grey states (thick outlines) are unpredictable, so they are the most important. YELLOW = CRITICAL STATES RIGHT NOW NEW: Added popups for Swing States, hover over them I'll leave comments open for now, for discussing the election results/data as they come in. STRONGLY DISCOURAGE against talking about the two candidates, and DO NOT make/respond to mean/violent/raging comments because they will be reported and/or I will have to close comments. I know a lot of people will think it's a bad idea to share this project. But I'm really curious to see what happens. What's the worst that could happen? TIMELINE: - 5:30 EST: shared, comments open Here's what the map looked like: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1092049756/ - 6:30 EST: Indiana, Kentucky - red. Nov 6 - 4pm EST blue speech, will they concede or demand recounts? - 4:30pm EST blue conceded. apparently no recounts. red win - 9pm EST closed comments. let's hope for the best. Nov 12 - 1 week later. Arizona and Nevada red. Red won all battleground states. There is a debate over the various reasons it happened, but the most interesting is probably this new era of independent media and its importance. my remarks at 3:30am: (trying to avoid clearly stating my preference) if you're disappointed/very anxious with the expected results (which are still not final yet), i feel very sorry for you. have a serious talk with your parents, teachers, friends and allies about how much the result is actually going to affect your life, and if it does, what you can do about it. there are still 2 months left until inauguration day. Inhale and tighten all muscles in 4 seconds. hold for 4 seconds. exhale and relax muscles in 4 seconds. repeat 4 times. And... from what i've seen online, there are a ton of people that have managed to keep their frustration under control, being less surprised than in 2016, and are in fact expressing encouragement and possibilities of positive change. There will be many opportunities throughout the next 4 years. But... i understand that staying calm and positive is not realistic at all for a large number of people. I'm sorry for you. We need to face reality, and we will all do the best we can every day. Think practically and take action. We have another opportunity to heal and rebuild ourselves from the ground up. Don't give up. Nothing is over. You have a 100% rate of surviving all previous bad days in your life. No matter which party you support and what opinions you have, we can all continue to do our best and work towards improving the country, healing our relationships, and enjoying our lives.
