How To Play
I... am a therian. Now before you run off, or tell me to seek medical help, please let me explain. I don't psychologically think I'm an animal. (That might require help) But this is purely spiritual, and something I'm not alone on. It's something along the lines of reincarnation. But instead of a whole spirit simply going into a new body, I believe when someone/something dies, its energy is released, and mixes with other living energy. So pretty much everyone has the energy of an animal, or plant or something inside them. Sorry if that sounds crazy. ^^' Ever since I was little, I've wanted to fly. Not just as a passing daydream either. For years I would desperately try to plan out ways to become airborne, especially in a way that I could do stunts. Whenever I'd see a movie about birds or flying creatures, I would have this weird feeling. The best I can describe it is... say you tasted ice cream for the first time. You don't remember where you were when you tried it, but you remember what it tastes like. And it's different than imagining what it *might* taste like. That's how I remember flying. There was this muscle memory that was so distinct I could feel it. Lately that feeling's been coming back, so I looked it up. That's where I found out about therians, or connecting spiritually to an animal or species. It as very interesting, and I'm glad I finally have people to relate to in that respect. After doing some research, both introspective and otherwise, I feel I have a bit of owl, griffin, and dragon soul in me. (Going from most to least prominent) And to people who think it's stupid, don't hate us. Hey, I get it! It's a strange thing to believe! But when we're just talking, or minding our own business about it, who cares? True or not, it's something that makes us feel whole and connected, kind of like religion does for some people. There are people who take it too far, but there are people like that for everything. Live and let live. Okay? :)
