Rotating Mario Galaxy Style Platformer v3
Game Introduction
17 Sept 2013 - Update: Massive internal change, removed all real time color collision detection and moved to using a pre-cached lookup matrix for entire level with two levels of detail to save space). This has sped things up a lot and means I can have other players/enemies off screen ! :) - Added two other AI characters, one who follows you, the other who just wanders around. 13 Sept 2013 - Update: Added player sprite that also rotates to show gravity. 12 Sept 2013 - Update: Gravity no longer just pulls you towards the center of the planet, there are also gravitational fields defined around parts of the world that pull you in other directions... You can move around and jump using the cursor keys.
How To Play
Version 3! This one lags less that any of the previous versions and has two AI players too :) - Cool! Plays much better when NOT full screen. I was asked by @Oui1024 whether I could show him how to create a game that would rotate the level dependent on where you were standing in that level. What immediately sprang to mind was Mario Galaxy... So here is a first attempt at a game engine allowing for this kind of player/world interaction.
