Super Mario Maker [New Features Added!]
Game Introduction
---------------------------------USE TURBO MODE-------------------------------- Lots of credit to @eJ121 for his Super Mario Maker project, and @geocashing for something, but I'm not sure because that project's unshared. Anyway, I added some new features, such as themes. It also comes with a new sample level. Press 0 to change the level theme. I also changed Mario's costumes for mushroom and fire flower because the current ones weren't from the original SMB. For this remix I aimed to make it more liken the original SMB other than the 16-bit graphics and sounds.
How To Play
Currently there are no level codes, so if you want to share your level, remix the project. HOLY SHRIMP CAKES 1000 LOVES REALLY? IT'S JUST A REMIX. AND IT DOES WORK IT'S JUST LOADING AT THE BEGINNING. __________________INSTRUCTIONS_______________________ EDITOR: Press 0 to change the theme. (Overworld, underground, etc.) Arrow keys to scroll around. Click to place tiles, use shift to scroll more quickly. Note: You can't place tiles while holding shift. Press space to open the menu to change the tile you are placing. ________________________________________________________ Press T to toggle player and editor modes. ________________________________________________________ IN-GAME Arrow keys to move Mario, Up/Z to Jump, X to run and throw fireballs. ________________________________________________________ CURRENT FEATURES: + A fast, infinite scrolling engine + A working and intuitive editor system + Player mode + Various tile types (Slopes, Solid blocks, Scenery tiles) + Death (by bottomless pit) + Big/small Mario + Splash screen, sound effects, and music + Warp pipes + The end of level Flag + Sliding (even if Mario looks a bit weird when he does it) + Smooth playing at any FPS (one of the advantages of the system I used) + A parallax scrolling background (and clouds to go on top!) + Powerups and basic effects. + Enemies UPCOMING FEATURES: - More Enemies (BETA RELEASE) - Water sections (BETA RELEASE) - Multiple Biomes (overworld, underworld, athletic, castle, underwater) (BETA RELEASE) - Import/Export (BETA RELEASE) - Level maps and games with multiple worlds (tie-able together) (FINAL RELEASE)
