Game Introduction
The background of the "Majestic City" Image is essentially a giant glowing postcard behind the buildings; the background picture itself I found in an image search. *Origin Story Incoming* The Daleks are the end result of a thousand year nuclear war on an isolated planet called Skaro. The chemical weapons being used were causing irreversible mutations, to the point where they could only support themselves by building protective metal casings, and so they retreated underground until the surface had stabilized. Driven insane by the extreme isolation and claustrophobia of their existence, the Daleks emerged many years later with a burning need to be alone in the universe, and the best way to achieve this was to slaughter anything and anyone that was not one of their own. In short, the Daleks are a metaphor for the worst of humanity.
How To Play
Arrow keys to progress. This is a slideshow of images of my 3D Dalek model that I made in Blender. It will feature in an upcoming game! The Daleks are some of the biggest antagonists in the British Science Fiction television show called "Doctor Who". I am a rather obsessive fan of it and as such have spent multiple months painstakingly recreating every last nut and bolt to the point where the model lags my computer. If you are not familiar with the show, then feel free to immerse yourself in its 50 year legacy which can be found in the form of a sizeable portion of the internet under many search terms.
