Game Introduction

NOT TRUE STORY, WRITTEN BY ME Once upon a time, there lived a young girl in a city. She went to a school and had a mother and father, just like you. She was very shy and sad. She always hung back and stayed alone. No one ever noticed the little girl. There was something strange about the little girl that only her parents knew about. She had been born with dimples in her shoulders, and if she were an angel, wings would have been right where the dimples were. The dimples were still there at age 8. One day when the girl was 8 and going to second grade, she was in class. The bell rang and she gathered up her books in her skinny, small arms. A gang of boys attacked her in the hallway. They knocked the books out of her arms, and one of the boys grabbed her collar and shook her. He yelled at her and called her names. The other boys laughed. The boy dragged the girl outside, the other boys following. A teacher found the girl’s books and backpack outside her classroom. Anxious, the teacher called the principal and reported a missing student. The principal and several students looked for the girl. Then a student reported seeing several boys outside harrassing a young girl outside. The girl the student reported fit the description of the principal, and they rushed outside. The boys were found. The biggest, strongest one was holding the body of a young girl. He was shocked. He hadn’t hurt her very much, and all of a sudden she just… went limp. There was no heartbeat. The principal was furious. Suddenly the boy screamed. The principal looked at the boy. The girl was in his arms, but a figure of her was standing a little ways away, fully alive. Light seemed to glow from the beautiful little face, and a circle of light seemed to hover over her head, like a halo. The students, principal, and teacher stood spellbound. The little girl smiled, and the witnesses noticed two feathery objects attatched to her shoulders, right in the dimples-wings. The little girl’s figure flapped her beautiful pure white wings and flew upwards. She smiled and waved goodbye as she flew into the cloudy sky, and then the clouds parted before her. A beautiful glowing light shone out, and the girl looked up into it. Her wings flapped, and she disappeared into the light. As the light faded, the principal sensed movement in the boy’s direction. She whipped around to see him staring at the little girl’s body. Everyone turned to look at the girl. The girl was smiling.
