Snowstreak snapped. "I'm so sorry, but.... I just....... Snowstreak.." Timberstep whispered softly, her eyes glazing. "Snowstreak, I really am sorry, but I really do love Russetstone." she sighed. "I knew you'd run away, run to ShadowClan, for him! I always knew that you liked him, since we were in that battle as apprentices and you met him when Fadesong attacked you, and he attacked her back just to save you. Timberstep, I just want you to be loyal to the Clan, and don't leave me behind in your memories. Remember me, please, Timberstep, please..." Snowstreak's voice faded softly as he padded back wearily to camp, his tail flicking in anger and sadness. Would he ever earn Timberstep's heart for the faith of her loyalty to her Clan?
