After applying for manager in the studio, I thought "What can I do to show that I really AM so so so so passionate about being part of that incredible community!?" (Link at the bottom) So, why not make a project? And here it is! A beautiful animated version of Christina Aguilera's song Beautiful. This is the 1st time I've decided to post one of my horrible drawings publicly on scratch. I had this character in my head for a while, and while I was making this project, I decided to finally use her. Her name is May Briton, she is 13 years old and she plays the piano. (Like me! :P) I'll post a project later with more information on May, as she is now my OC. Anyways, I saw @PokemonScratch101's project (Link at bottom) and I was instantly inspired! (Thanks so much PS101!) As for the song, I choose an amazing, empowering song that I absolutely love aka Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. <3 It is such a heartwarming, inspiring, clever, awesome and empowering song and I think it fits this animation perfectly. (I know this is REALLY an animation, but if you wait, May does eventually blink/frown.) I was also super inspired by the LGBTQ+ community, a circle of people so strong, they have wiggled their way into all of our hearts. I am deeply impressed by the strength of the LGBTQ+ community, despite the strain that has put on them. <3 In case you were wondering, the words in the background are actual pieces of the lyrics from the song. See if as the lyrics are being sung, you can find the same words on screen. <3 Lastly, I just wanted to say that I would appreciate being a manager of the studio; I want to help out.
