How To Play

Click a green flag to start, then click ON to switch on the laser. Move the laser and the optical elements using drag 'n drop. You can rotate an object if you press R before or while single-clicking an object, and click again (w/o pressing a keyboard-key) to stop rotating towards the mouse-pointer. Clone the objects by single-clicking them. You can delete a cloned object if you press X while single-clicking the object. Set the refractive index of the fluid using the slider. The prisms have refractive index 1.5 for red light. You can observe total reflection. The shift-status (R or X or none) can be seen below the refractive index. The shift-status resets itself to none after some seconds but you can reset it manually by pressing space. You can toggle mute by pressing M. Sound is on from start i.e. after green flag. Exercises: 1. Build a parabolic mirror using four plane mirrors and use four lasers to shine parallel light that is reflected to a focus. All beams should meet at the same time at the focus. 2. Build a bent optical fiber using prisms and shine light in both directions.
