Epic Ninja v1.12
Game Introduction
This is a single test level of a game I'm working on called Epic Ninja. v1 was released on 8 May 2014. More ninja fun: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/74181438/ Working On - Level Designer Saving / Loading. 27 May 2014 - v1.12 - Added Club Pick up, and sped up fly mode. 23 May 2014 - v1.11b - Stripped out all Stop Script blocks due to Scratch Bug introduced in v417 of the Scratch Player. 19 May 2014 - v1.11 - Added Pike pickups. Press 'T' to throw/Discard. Added club man mob. 16 May 2014 - v1.10 - Added Shuriken pickups. Press 'T' to throw once you have them. 15 May 2014 - v1.9b & c - Getting knocked or jumping causes the cancelling of the crouch key (as suggested by @jontmy00). Release and press again to crouch. Fixed knocked into spike pit unable to move glitch reported by @Catastrophe1999 15 May 2014 - v1.9 - Experimenting with crouch, and powered up crouch moves. Try holding 'down' for just over a second and then using jump or hit. If you want to drop through a platform, you now 'tap' the down key instead of holding on. 14 May 2014 - v1.8b - Added enemy damage on spikes and reduced increased fall damage distance for mobs. Changed mob AI to allow jumping across larger distances and spikes, and fixed option to walk down a hill without jumping! 14 May 2014 - v1.8 - Added new black belt ninja mob and extended demo level with new area, spikes and a total of 33 fruits to find! Bug fixes to bridge and spikes (pointed out by @15tseey1 and @CPRvy). 13 May 2014 - v1.7 - Added health bar to Boss and new font for fruit collects. (Fixed ninja throw bug thanks to @AMProductions for pointing it out) 13 May 2014 - v1.6 - Added new sound effects and [M] toggles Music 12 May 2014 - v1.5 - Collectable Fruit (Well what else do Ninjas go for?) - Will you be able to find them all? Again apologies for the scratch variable display - I'll sort that out at some point! 12 May 2014 - v1.4 - Added restrictions on movement outside of Boss Fight arena. Added correct heart costume for pickups. Extended cloud hopping time, Fixed fall damage bug in design mode (thanks to @15tseey1 for spotting that) 11 May 2014 - v1.3b - Added more life drops and mega life drop after boss fight (will change graphic later). Altered boss AI a tad. 9 May 2014 - v1.3 - Added way points and music. 9 May 2014 - v1.2(b) - Fixed ninja star too powerful (thanks to @kittykatzNETWORK), replaced life hearts with newly drawn costumes. (b) Fixed fall damage death invulnerability glitch (thanks to @AwesomeLearning for pointing that one out) 9 May 2014 - v1.1 - Added some more level, balanced difficulty a little (Ninja stars are more frequent, spear guy is slower, only 4 ninjas per pack), added death level restart, added boss fight health readout. How To Play
Fight your way across the level, and find the 33 fruits :) [Arrows or WASD] - Move [Space or H] - Attack [M] - Music On / Off. [P] - Pause On / Off [T] - Throw (Shurikens/Pike once picked up) Hold down to crouch, Tap down to drop through platforms. Crouching for a second provides you with power for an extra long jumps or kick. [0] - Level Editor On / Off [1...9] Select Tile Type [Q & E] - Cycle Tile Sets [F] Toggle fly mode
