Dungeon Glory [The unfinished adventure...]

Game Introduction

Maybe one day I'll get time to turn this into a full game. But probably not... Updates =========== - Added a treasure chest to find - Extended the maze - Implemented object handling (there are two semi-hidden vortexes) - Added second render type (better but slower) - Optimised raycast - Extended exploration area - In-game maze editor - New textures - Flash check added - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/228177487/ - Ceiling and floor added - Maze extended so all doors are operational Credits =========== Monster graphics from dndbeyond.com Fonts from dafont.com Music from purple-planet.com Sound effects from freesound.org Title page from Wizards of the Coast Textures from various free resources via Google Images really wanted to make a full RPG in Scratch with full 3D graphics. This is my test project and one that I am very proud of. It manages to use high detailed textures that move in real time as you walk around the dungeons...)

How To Play

CONTROLS: Cursor keys to move around. Space bar to perform action (open door or portcullis). 1) No, I can't add smooth turning. It just isn't possible unless I use far less detailed textures 2) Yes, I have seen games with smooth turning (and do it myself in Textured Maze) but those textures are a *lot* more pixelated than these 3) No, I probably won't make it into a full game. There just hasn't been enough interest in it 4) Technically I was extremely pleased with the quality of rendering achieved for a Scratch game of this type 5) There's script in there that isn't being used that allows fighting of a variety of monsters 6) There's a full map editor hidden in the project! 7) Yes, it's a shame there wasn't more interest. I had very high hopes for this game 8) Thanks for reading this far - I'm amazed anyone actually has :) Well, if you're still here then I may as well let you in on the level editor. It isn't very friendly because it's only there for me to use really! When in the dungeon press the '1' key and, while holding it down, press anything from 'a' through to 'l' or 'z'. Note that it's deliberate that any "walls" placed are one way - it allows for different wall textures on each side or even one-way doors...
