Game Introduction
Change log (v0.4.6): -Created an early hub world with 2 pipes leading to World 1 and 2. -Some existing levels have been split into star missions, accessed by the world pipes. (Note: World 2 isn't finished yet, only World 1 works properly, but the levels aren't final.) -Added a brand-new pause menu, it's now is smaller, displays more stuff, has and exit button to return to the hub world and the shop has been moved here. -Updated a lot of the graphics, lots of the bitmap sprites (apart from the characters) have been vectorized as bitmap takes up more space and vector looks better. -The shop has been updated and sells different items. -The sprite amount has been reduced to save space, the pipes and signs are now under the object and solid object sprites and a few other things have been tweaked. -The cloning engine for the enemy, object, solid object and coin sprites have been improved and are now easier to use. -The levels are now less space-like. I changed this because Pickleodeon said that this actually wasn't based of Mario Galaxy and was suppose to be more like a 2D Mario 64 or Sunshine. -Removed Star Bits, I felt they were slightly unnecessary and also for the same reason as above. -The special ability SYMBOL has been removed, they still work and a new waiting timer appears. (For 30 seconds instead of 60.) -Captain Toad is now on the character select screen! :D -Removed Chain Chomp and Boo, they were a bit buggy and I think we had too many characters. -Other minor changes To-do list (mainly for me, but anyone can do this really): -Change the variables for the coins, lives, power stars, etc into clean custom sprites using the Mario font. -Vectorize all character sprites (this will be a challenge). -Make character movement smoother. -Improve level design. Welcome to Super Mario Scralaxy V.0.4.6! (This is probably the game's biggest update!) Notice: This game is still in development, so the game isn't complete and somethings may lack polish or be unfinished. ========== CONTROLS ========== Press Z and X to start the game and open the character select. Arrow keys or A and D to move. Up arrow key or W to jump, and down arrow key or S for your attack/dive or to enter pipes, X to use power up attacks, Z to read signs and F to use your special ability.
