Fantastic Beasts Game
Game Introduction
Tᴏᴘ Lᴏᴠᴇᴅ: 6–11 Dec 2016 Cᴜʀᴀᴛᴇᴅ: 5 Dec 2016 ●▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬● Coinciding with the worldwide premiere of 'Fantastic Beasts', I decided to release this project as a taster to the new film. It is the first and likely last project in my Harry Potter mini-project series that will concern this particular franchise, although I may revisit it later in a standalone project. It includes a 'Prezi' style presentation on Newt Scamander, a game incorporating beasts from the film, a movie portal with a gallery and character/beast profiles, plus a virtual tour of the Hufflepuff common room (Newt's Hogwarts house). As such, badger depictions are prevalent throughout the project. The anagram found in the movie corner's introduction is based on a tweet made by J.K. Rowling in October 2014 for her fans to decrypt. The translation was eventually confirmed a couple of days later and it set the scene early on as to what one might expect of the film. The main menu music is by Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls, a fixture in all my projects of this series. It is titled 'Just a Hufflepuff' and was included as a nod to Newt's Hogwarts house. Make no mistake, though: I am a Gryffindor and a very proud one at that! Three scores from the film's amazing soundtrack by James Newton Howard are featured as well. The opening track 'Main Titles' plays in the game menu while 'In the Cells' plays during gameplay. The beautiful 'Newt Says Goodbye to Tina/Jacob's Bakery' track plays in the movie corner and is probably my pick of the album. I have watched the movie and found it thoroughly enjoyable. This project was in development before the film's release and as such, no spoilers are contained herein. I will not update it with my experience from the film, so even those of you who have not seen it may safely browse away!

Safely transport the Thunderbird into Newt's briefcase located on the rooftops (+1000 points). Unsuccessful drops will reduce your score (-100 points). Be careful though! Avoid the oncoming Occamies (-250 points), Swooping Evils (-250 points) and Billywigs (-100 points). Swooping Evils can spout venom as well (-50 points).
