Morse Code Translator
Game Introduction
Instructions: Use the first two buttons to translate to and from Morse. Click "Listen to Morse" to hear the currently saved message. (You can stop the transmission at any time, in case it gets annoying.) About Morse Code: The Latin alphabet has 26 characters, Morse code only three: the dit (short sound), the dah (long sound) and the pause. Every letter, punctuation mark and number is made up of a combination of these dits and dahs. I used a "/" as fourth character to indicate word breaks, but it's actually just 7 beats of silence. (I had to replace it, since you cannot post 7 consecutive spaces in a Scratch comment.) . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . Art & code by me. The background is a public domain image, which I've colorized. Thank you, @CodePoodle, for curating this ^__^. . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - .
