Katrina the Doberman Pinscher
Game Introduction
This is Katrina. We think she is a 3.5 yr old female, black and tan, purebred Doberman Pinscher. As you can see, Katrina is a beautiful female. She has nicely cropped ears and a docked tail and currently weighs about 67 lbs (a nice size female). She is also spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. We rescued Katrina from a high kill shelter in Southern California. Lucky girl. She walks very well on a leash and rides well in the car too. She is crate trained and keeps her crate clean and dry; she waits to be taken outside to go potty. We think she is housetrained. Some of her favorite things are to sleep on a dog bed next to her owner's bed, watch the ground squirrels for hours on end in the neighbor's yard, and go for a walk. Dislikes: 4 wheelers and ground squirrels in HER yard! Katrina is a confident female; we think that she would be happy being a single dog in a family. We noted that she is also pretty focused on cats when we are out walking. A home without cats would probably be best for her. Going for walks several times during the day and hanging out with her person or people and protecting her yard would be right up her alley. She received a great review from our vet office staff on being well behaved at the vet office. Katrina came to us with an old injury. Of course, we had her fully examined and x-rayed by our vet. Our vet shared the x-rays with an orthopedic surgeon to confirm his thoughts as well. Our vet thinks Katrina was somehow injured long ago. This old injury to her knee has healed itself and she walks with a limp on the right rear leg, but, that doesn't seem to slow her down. Our trusted vet said the best course of action is to leave it as is. We give her some chrondontin/glucosamin (over the counter vitamins) and some rimadyl (inexpensive) with her meals and we see her running through the yard on a daily basis. She enjoys walks and being with people and her nice dog bed. Beautiful Katrina is looking for a loving home.
