AppleHead: The Bird (old)
Game Introduction
Pretty much just an outdated version of The Bird. I was going to make some significant changes to the game, so I saved a copy (which is now The Bird V3!) and just stopped updating this version. Based completely on Cuphead Music: Aviary Action (Wally Warbles) by StudioMDHR Duck Hunt from Nintendo Propose to be featured maybe??? https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/28715018/ Sorry about the animated thumbnail being so short, Scratch only allows 1 megabyte as max size, and because of all the effects, it took up too much space. Tips: The first stage is pretty easy, just shrink when the Bird dives at you and move up or down, and to dodge the egg attack, just stay small and move up and down in one place. The Miniflaps are the main problem here, as they may block off a direction, or explode in an unavoidable situation for some early damage. The second stage is tough! This is most likely where you lose some health. Watch the eggs, they are very lethal, and you can only outrun them when you are small. But when you are small, you are harder to control and might run straight into the Bird or one of his attacks. Watch out for the wind gusts, they are barely visible but they can be dangerous if you don't notice them. They will push you back faster than you can move, and can cause you to get stuck right when an egg is chasing you. The third stage is probably the hardest and most chaotic. In this stage, even the moon is against you. Stars will fly from one side of the screen to the other, so dodge them or you will take damage. Watch the direction of the Robo-Bird's turret, if it is angled downwards, it will shoot from the bottom of the screen to the middle. If it is angled upward, it will shoot from the top of the screen to the middle. Try to get as far away as possible from the missiles, when they hit the edge of the screen, they blow up in a large radius. The flying mines will not be dangerous unless you shoot or run into them, as they will explode in eight directions. With the giant death laser, try to lead it to the top or bottom of the screen, then quickly shrink and fly away. Make sure you always pay attention to how close the nearest obstacle is, as you don't want to run straight into obvious danger.
