The Wand || Episode Eight
Game Introduction
Welcome to episode 8 of The Wand! This took months, I had to write the scripts and animate this while school was on. I've also edited the character designs and lip sync. This is about 5 minutes in length. Also happy winter solstice for those in the northern hemisphere and happy summer solstice for those in the southern :P This was released around 6:15pm GMT Here's an interesting quote from @samirathecatlol : "miss ivy is PENG will u write me in marrying her" Sorry this episode took so long and thanks for bearing with me because I said I was going to postpone/cancel The Wand due to the newest episode not doing well and I said I'd start a new series. The thing is, I hadn't developed the plot enough to write a script, I planned to animate it over the summer holidays and then bam it's the last day and I hadn't done anything. I made the decision to go back to animating The Wand and later on I'd say that episode 8 will come out when episode 7 gets 700 loves. Because I planned to be releasing projects that would hopefully do well on the front page I came to the conclusion that if I set my featured project to The Wand 7 while my project is on the front page, more people would see it and hopefully love it? Then I realized that I had no ideas for projects so I just left that. I'd already set a release date for The Wand, 21st December. (which is the winter solstice fun fact) I'm aware that The Wand 7 isn't at 700 loves yet but a month ago I thought it would be. I'd just like to say that I didn't intend for this to be a publicity stunt at all, I think it was down to me having poor judgement and not being able to make my mind up. Thank you to those who have stuck with me through these months. FAQs: Why are there not many boys? Rarity is for girls, and since most of The Wand is set in Rarity, there are mainly girls. However, a lot of Eve's workers are boys and one of the village kids is a boy. In episode 9, I plan to have a scene in Infinity which is the boys' version of Rarity, although it's already shut down. Did you copy The Colour Divide? No. Sure, there's magic and there's a similar art style but at this point the story is so different that it's by no means a copy, and it never was. This isn't based off the colour divide and I don't really like The Wand being associated with it. Can I be in the next episode? Sorry, no. I've written the scripts for the last few episodes, I've got all the voice actors and background characters I need for the rest of the series.
