Blockshading + coding by me. original picture from google images Song: Première Gymnopédie - Erik Satie An interesting story about wolves: (Disclaimer- I’m not an expert on this stuff but I’ve heard about it and read some articles and wanted to share the information with everyone.) In the 1930’s, grey wolves in Yellowstone National Park were wiped out. Because of this, the elk didn’t have as many natural predators, so they started overpopulating. This caused a lot of trouble for other animals in the park, who were competing for the same resources as the elk. Today, Grey wolves have been in Yellowstone since 1995. They have begun to hunt the elk more, meaning that other animals such as beavers can collect more resources. This has led to a lot of amazing things happening in Yellowstone. This led scientists to believe the wolves had a greater impact of the environment than previously expected (a keystone species, if you will).
