Game Introduction
Think about what you just did. That poor man. Do you feel any remorse for what you have done? If you do, go apologize to the superior. In "thank you," your goal is to make things right. Venture your way through beautiful new areas in an uncorrupted world. The powers you learn will help you out...whether you like it or not. All you need to do is control yourself. My game "i'm sorry" was my most loved game so far, and a sequel was highly requested by other Scratchers. Since I had ideas for a sequel, I decided to make one. Believe it or not, this is my first scrolling platformer on Scratch; that is, the first one I shared. I think I really outdid myself this time, especially with the following: – New powers – Checkpoints – New unique areas – Steadily increasing difficulty – Horizontal and vertical scrolling – A less vague, yet still mysterious storyline – Game length (about twice as long as "i'm sorry"!) – A secret surprise (it appears near the end of the game) While attempting to stay true to the original game, I also listened to many Scratchers who provided feedback on "i'm sorry." You guys had great ideas, so I decided to include them: – Voice acting – Faster cutscenes – Quieter death sound – Wall jumping removed – AZERTY keyboard support – No "tap jump lightly" levels – Skipping levels and most cutscenes – Ability to play without waiting for dialogue to end I started working on this project on October 28th, 2018. How To Play
WARNING: The story in this game may be a bit sad. WARNING: This game will not save your progress! FAQ: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/343056/ Don't look at the comments if you don't want spoilers. Instructions are in the game. I'd rather not put the controls here due to spoilers. This game does have QWERTY and AZERTY support; you can press A or Q, and you can press Z or W, as needed. All areas are possible. If you suspect that an area is impossible, press S and D at the same time to skip the area. Be careful, though — you may regret this decision. It is possible that the game may lag or crash at times. I am very sorry if this happens, but I have no way to fix it. Simply have patience and keep playing, if you wish. There is a "secret" ending, which may be rather obvious to find. The secret ending is the bad ending. ===== KNOWN BUGS ===== The last area lags significantly more than the rest of the game. I may look for a solution. Sounds do not play in one of the endings of the game. I may try to change the sound; it must be the file type. ===== UPDATES ===== 3-1-2019 (Version 1.0): The game was posted. There are a few issues with the game that I listed above. It's possible that I won't try to fix them, although it would be great if I could find a way to decrease the lag. 3-2-2019 (Version 1.1): In order to stop the crashing, try dissipating (press A) if your character ever disappears.
