Gears
Game Introduction
Known bugs and limitations: - When adding overlapping gears, all teeth are rendered in front of other gears. - When adding gears that are to large to fit completely on the screen, some teeth are rendered on the edge of the screen. All the graphics are vector graphics created in Scratch. All code and art by me (@kriblo). #interactive #description(Play around with cogwheels.)
How To Play
Add a main gear (parent) and connected gears (children) and press space to see them rotate. Instructions are shown on screen, but: 1. Click the start screen to start. 2. Pick a radius (distance from center to edge) for your first (main) gear. This can be a number between 20 and 100. Then click Ok. 3. Click the screen where you want the center of your first gear. 4. To add a child gear, click the gear you want to be the parent. Pick a radius for the new gear, and click Ok. 5. Click one of the red dots that mark possible centers for your new gear. 6. Keep adding gears, to find the rendering limit of your computer. 7. When you are finished adding gears, press space to see the gears rotate. Press space again to stop rotation, and again to reverse rotation.
