[Click on the pictures to move through the chapters] In June 2019, I was fortunate enough to visit Bletchley Park. Alan Turing's story made a big impact on me, so I decided to create a project based on facts I got from Bletchley as well as the the film "Imitation Game". Alan Turing is a true war hero. He played a leading role in the breaking of enigma and has pioneered modern computer science. His life is a story of two halves though. He was bullied in school for 'being different' and was a gay man at a time when homosexuality was a crime in Britain. The project summarises his key life events alongside hand drawn illustrations of significant buildings and objects.
