Thank you, everyone who’s been so supportive. It’s because of y’all that I really feel motivated to draw and animate. It’s not every day something you’ve worked on gets this much attention, so I really wanted to say thank you. I worked so hard on this, and to see that others really enjoy it always makes me feel extremely lucky. I’d love any animation tips if anyone has any. This was mostly practice using their animation assist tool, getting used to the program, etc. Now that I'm a bit more familiar with the brushes and stuff I'm going to try some actual animation instead of the "almost-animation-but-not-really" things I did here. Story: the first character is Mae, a girl with anxiety. She's nervous a lot, though throughout her life she's never been given any sort of hope from anyone that she'll ever get better, she's just kinda been told she'll always be anxious. She's afraid of everything, like bears and bats and forests and all sorts of things. Then there's Flynne, Mae's best friend, who fears nothing. Flynne's a goofball and an always cheerful soul, and always there for Mae. The fox's name is Will. He's Flynne and Mae's guide in the Forest. Although he resists being their friend at first, he can't help but become close to the human girls he meets. They're all trapped in a magical sentient Forest that feeds on fear, and every day it gets stronger. Mae needs to learn to banish her fears if they're ever going to survive, but it isn't as easy as it seems. (Um so I heard “eating my textbooks again” so I drew a guilty bear and then I realized it says “reading” not “eating” but I already drew the bear so...oh well.) #animation
