April ART BOMB | Tutorial

Game Introduction

It's finally here! After two months of work and planning, I present to you my most ambitious project yet! ART BOMB. Combining an art dump that spans over the course of two months, personal comments, and tutorials interspersed between slides, I wanted to merge the style of all my Scratch projects into one. Please TURN YOUR SOUND UP and view in FULL-SCREEN. Each sprite in this project has been formatted as an SVG in 1333 x 1000 px resolution. I wanted to revamp the way I presented my tutorials and artwork by offering cleaner design and a smooth animation. Highlighting key terms, creating miniature demonstrations of different tools I used, all of those should add to the clarity of looking at my process. As for the sound? Well, it's Persona 5 music, you can't miss it. Plus the knife sound with the paint splatter transition? Ironically that's my favorite part of the project, not the artwork I drew ;D For the software, I utilized Photoshop CS6. But even though the highlighted terms correspond to Photoshop, any modern art program will have these basic functions. Simply look up the name of the tool for your application. They might be labeled differently, but their functions are the same. By examining all of my techniques used through this hybrid tutorial, feel free to incorporate them or remix them into your own skillset. Altogether, I know I haven't been the most active. But I hope this more than makes up for it. So much time was sunk into this project, but I am positively happy with the result of a hybrid tutorial. I hope everyone is safe during this current situation and thank you for viewing! #Art
