Game Introduction
WARNINGS 1. The story behind this game is a little emotionally charged. 2. This game is big and will likely take a few minutes to load. 3. This game is long. Expect your first playthrough to take AT LEAST five hours. 4. This game is hard. Don't expect to beat it until you've mastered the mechanics. 5. Read the Instructions thoroughly. How To Play
CHROME IS RECOMMENDED FULL SCREEN IS NOT RECOMMENDED Use W,A, and D to move Press Q and E to dash (This makes you move super fast. It is EXTREMELY important) Press R to heal (This will take a couple seconds to respond. Wait for an opening before you heal) Press F to block Press L to embrace the Abyss (return to last checkpoint) After you start talking with an NPC, press "S" again to skip their dialogue. Click to attack CLOUD PVP Please read this carefully if you plan on doing Cloud PvP Move the Boss with A and D Dash with Q and E Do two weak attacks with click Do one strong attack with W Block with F 1. As soon as a player steps into the Transient Knight Boss arena (we will call this player the "host"), a call is sent out to all players on the FIRST level. This call will invite you to join as the Transient Knight. If you accept (before someone else does) you will play as the boss. Supposing no one does this, after about ten seconds the host will fight an AI boss. 2. Most of the online stuff is done on the host's side. This means that it should be playable for all hosts. 3. THIS GAME DOES NOT HAVE CLIENT SIDE PREDICTION. Scratch's servers are in Massachusetts. Therefore, if you are too geographically distant, this will result in latency problems that I CAN'T FIX. I have tested it from the Western United States, and it is playable, however, things happen (such as HP bars take a few seconds to respond). 4. Because of number 3, this will be more enjoyable for players from the Eastern United States. It is still doable at other geographic regions, but there will be problems.
