Hello! So, I was perusing Scratch the other day, and I've come across a few **excellent** texture tutorials - in particular, ones for hair and for water [want to find them? links below]. Subsequently, I realized... hey! I've got a good bit of experience with wood texture! I can contribute to this pool of knowledge! So for all you folks out there who want to learn how to draw some wood, here's a tutorial for you. [space / click / arrow keys to navigate] I did not develop this technique for vector art, but it translated pretty easily! These instructions should work whether you prefer vector art or rasterized. This is my first tutorial [and it was made in a few hours...] so it's not real snazzy or anything. Just some good info!
