my rant: BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!!!!! honestly, I think that it's so sad that we even need to be worried about inequality. it's sad that some (horrible) people think people can be treated differently because of their skin color. it really is disgusting and yes I am aware this project won't do much I want to try to do my part in this and possibly educate people. police violence is something that I feel like we need to talk more about. I'm not sure if this also happens outside of America but the police here have a history of using excessive force on people and sadly I can give a few examples. one really famous one is the murder of George Floyd. the police put his knee on his neck for around 9 minutes straight I believe, which resulted in his death because of his skin color. another is when a 12-year-old boy (Tamir Rice) was playing with a water gun or a toy gun or something like that and the police shot him because they thought he was a threat. not only is this a problem for people of color but it is to just all people. BM from KARD spoke up about his experience in America with the police. he said he was visiting friends and family when he was pulled over and he and his friends were held at gunpoint. he said the police's exact words were "move a muscle and ill blow your head off." the reason for all this?: tinted windows. it really is a huge problem. another thing is please stop saying all lives matter!! I get that you don't mean it in a bad way but let me try to explain it like this; let's say there's a shepherd who owns a bunch of sheep. one day one of his sheep runs away putting its self in danger. the shepherd leaves the other sheep to go and rescue the sheep that wandered away. that doesn't mean that this is the only one that matters all it means is that it was more at risk than the other sheep so he supported it and helped it until it was the same as everyone else. so please stop saying all lives matter. BLM doesn't mean ONLY BLM it means black lives matter, as well as everyone else and we, can't all be equal until black people are treated correctly. So in a way, BLM is like saying ALM because all lives can't matter until people start understanding BLM matter as well. Please remember that just because the trend is over doesn't mean the problem is. The ALM movement was created to take the focus off of the oppressed like Muslims, darker-skinned people, Asians, and more. So I understand why you would say ALM but it is technically a racist term. I'm 90% sure that the people that comment stuff like "ALM" didn't bother to read this :') thank you for reading this far it means a lot :) have a great day <3 if any of this is inncorrect please (respectfuly) let me know I wrote this a while ago so i could have been wrong.
