At least, that’s what people say. “It’s interesting, really, how she can manage to be so angry, yet so peaceful and carefree, at the same time.” Jo prizes her friends and relationships above everything else, and believes them to be one of the most important values on her earth. In turn, she can become unhealthily attatched to people on her search for that feeling in return. She won’t hesitate to fight anyone who harms her friends, or to stand up for someone she sees in any form of danger. She hates being restricted by her body, though, since she understands that sometimes she isn’t strong enough, and that some males out there will attack her for it. Jo doesn’t mean to come off as cruel as she sometimes does, for she always says what she thinks. She feels as though people have a right to know what the other thinks, and would be perfectly fine with mind reading, were it a thing. Is it? Although magic has been “successfully and completely removed from society,” Jo often experiences strange occurrences in her daily life. The levitation of a milk jug, the extra slam of a door, the breath and whisper in her ears. While she tries to dismiss these sights as illusions from the sun, there are just some things that won’t cut that trickery. After she reluctantly told her therapist that it was nearly a daily occurance, the lady earnestly told her magic was still there. Jo isn’t sure what her magic is, but she does want to find it. It’s a curious little thought, and she can’t help but to try to figure it out. With the aid of her best friend, Logan, the two begin to attempt to uncover the secrets of their lost society... without getting caught. // Logan, biography “Jo, are you serious?
