Sinusoidal - A Trigonometric Simulator

Game Introduction

==== Sinusoidal ==== A Trigonometric Simulator 100% Pen (Besides Thumbnail) = Instructions = Use WS to change the Amplitude - Distance between the midline (purple dashes) and the peak Use AD to change the Period - Distance between peaks Use the arrow to change the shift = Math Studio = Do you have a math project/know of a math project? Send a link to it in the comments of the studio, and it might be added! = Context = A sinusoidal graph is what we get when we graph f(x) = sin(x). We can fill up the equation f(x) = asin(bx + c) + d to better describe a sinusoidal graph. 'd' describes the vertical shift, '-c/b' describes the horizontal shift, '2pi/b' described the wavelength (and 'b' describes the frequency), and 'a' describes the amplitude. In this project, the markings are every 'pi' away from each other, as we measure angles in radians (at least in this project), and in such case '2pi' is a full rotation. As you can see, the amplitude starts out as 1, the wavelength starts out as 2, and the shifts both start at 0. Sinusoidal Graphs are a topic from Pre-Calculus/Algebra 2, but can be fun for everyone!
