OneShot: The Long Shot (UNFINISHED BUILD)
Game Introduction
--- PLANS --- The Long Shot was supposed to be a weird adventure as Niko, you and the onlooking World Machine try to figure out why Niko was sent to a Scratch project after the Solstice ending, and how to get them out. Just like OneShot, this would require actions outside of the game, such as going into See Inside and altering the "Data" sprite. While this would allow you to progress, it would also be possible to get a Bad Ending by getting Niko killed, which would softlock the project (Outside of the world of OneShot, Niko is no longer safe from harm). An example of this would be spawning a bridge, walking Niko over it and then removing said bridge out from their feet. The game would also have plenty of emotional moments as Niko's trust of you is severed farther than ever before. The project would also feature many anti cheat mechanisms for other sprites, and have Niko react to a bunch of meta stuff, such as the world around them shifting if you tried to teleport rooms. In the end, Niko gets home as usual. It wouldn't have been a very long project, but it would've been a taste of a new adventure with them. Feel free to do as you will with this project. Their fate is in your hands, and remember... You only have one shot.
How To Play
An unfinished Scratch project from mid 2021. Sadly won't ever be complete, but I've decided to upload it, so people can see what wasn't meant to be. --- INSTRUCTIONS --- • ARROW KEYS to move. • C to Run. • Z to Interact. • V to open Inventory. • The first area is the only area, and no, you can't put that battery into that machine. • S to use the Super Save Key debug function, which used to control how the project would react to being restarted with the Green Flag. Doesn't work properly, as I've put a script in to forever keep the Save Key at 0 so you can't accidentally hard lock the game. Save Key 1 would skip the instruction cards at the start.
