Hi I'm angry it only took you a month to get over 100 but congrats nonetheless stranger ;] Meet Harlan Perez: a high school senior just trying to, frankly, survive. He's very calm and low-key but gets riled up extremely easily (don't ask to go on a bike ride with him, he'll let the air out of your tires that the night) and doesn't calm down for hours afterward. He's a skilled painter, but he rarely ever paints. Says it's not cool. His crush loves it. He sleeps way too much, wakes up at noon on good days, 3 on bad days. He goes to school maybe three days a week, spends the other two playing hoodlum with his friends down by the pier (they live somewhere like Seattle or something) and the rest of the day at the flower shop. His mom bought him a brand-new, relatively expensive bike for his 14th birthday (which has nothing to do with the fact that his crush is a mountain biker) and he loves it. Cleans it every day, oils it every week, and never rides it. He never learned how and is ashamed to learn. Despite working at a flower shop, he can't keep anything more than a plastic succulent alive, and excessively decorates his bedroom with them. He likes to look well put-together and would rather die than wear sweatpants outside the house. Someone once asked him if he puts the milk or the cereal in the bowl first and he said milk just to spite them. He still holds to that even though he hasn't seen that person in years. He likes patterns. He watches Naruto and unironically enjoys every second of it. He and his friends are general trouble-makers. they're too dumb to have someone call the police on them, but they've definitely been threatened with it. They're very loud together. They're like the exact definition of that one group of teenagers that ruin Halloween for everyone. His favorite music is indie rock (not that I know what that is[I actually listened to some indie rock songs and it's exactly what I thought it was{I'm in love}]). He has a Hispanic background, but his parents are so distant from it that all he knows is Perez has been the family name for hundreds of years. Maybe only tens. It's a bit unclear. He lost the other pair of his favorite earrings when Kat shoved him off the pier for making a crude gesture at em. E didn't apologize. Or pay for a replacement. Harlan and Jo are childhood friends. They're as close as peanut butter and jelly. I mean that as in they bonded over pb&j when they were five and haven't separated since. Jo is African-American and grew up in a Spanish speaking family. She is completely fluent and visited New Mexico once. Harlan likes to joke that she's more Hispanic than him. Harlan, Jo, and Kat once went to a party and Harlan woke up the next day to find Kodi sleeping on his couch. They became close friends after that. Kat's full name is Katrinat. E hates it. If you call em Katrinat, e will slug you. No hesitation. Kat and Harlan bonded over their love of fashion. They often talk cr@p about the other's outfits together. Loudly. Within hearing distance. Kodi and Kat bicker a lot but in the end, they're the closest of the four. Kat is Asian and Native American (what tribe, I don't know atm). I feel like e would casually learn Chinese, or whatever language eir extended family speaks, so e can visit them later. This is super long Bye If you read all of this, please go join the contest. On a side note, I'm binging Naruto right at this very moment and the only reason I'm still watching it still is that I'm waiting for Sasuke to frickin DIE and because Sasuke and Naruto's relationship is actually really cute and intriguing. Actually, I'm already extremely attached to Sasuke so. Also, Sakura is super annoying but she's so badass when she wants to be I might do a redesigning Naruto project Maybe I'd have to finish all 20 seasons of this first So goodnight
