Tessellator

Game Introduction

How To Play

This project lets you make rotated patterns. You drag the numbered dots which the project rotates into tessellations, then you draw more and colour your design while the project rotates and tessellates to fill the stage. ** Full instructions below! ** Full Screen mode is best to control your drawing! *** I would like to see the best designs you make with this project! Put them in the Tessellator Studio https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/3439903/ ** It would be nice to write in the Credits: "Made with Tessellator 2 - The Rotator https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/123272426/ by Scratch-Minion" ** Here is a description of how "Tessellator 2 - The Rotator" works. 1) In Drag Mode, hold the mouse down to drag the numbered dots to make an interesting shape. Look for possible designs you can make from the shape!! Note that rotations are drawn as you drag. 2) Click the Drag Mode button to switch to Draw Mode. You will not be able to return to Drag Mode for this design. In Draw Mode, hold the mouse down and draw to add to your design. You can draw in Black or choose White to erase. Full Screen mode is best to control your drawing! (You can draw anywhere on the stage except in the top sixth). Your drawing will be rotated and repeated in each of the tessellations. 3) Click the Draw Mode button to switch to Colour Mode. Select a colour, then click the stage to fill an area with colour. The same area in every tessellation with the same rotation will also be filled with the colour. Again you cannot click in the top sixth of the stage. If an area does not fill completely with colour, click again on the unfilled area. 4) You can switch back and forth between Colour and Draw Modes. 5) TO SAVE YOUR PATTERN. "See Inside" the project. Press the 'h' key to hide all buttons. Right click the stage and select "save to local file". Press the 'h' key again to show the buttons again.
