How To Play

Brief Instructions: Make Patterns! Add Mini Squares to the top 4x4 Grid and apply Transformations. Remix to save your pattern. Share your project in the Tessellator studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/3439903/ Full Instructions: 1) Select Mini Square Designs and click the 4x4 Grid to place them. The 4x4 Grid is copied into alternate positions in the big pattern. The other alternate positions are filled by the Transformed 4x4 Grid at the bottom of the screen. 2A) Click one of the transforms: Original, Mirror X, Mirror Y, Rotate 90 Clockwise, Rotate 90 Anticlockwise and Rotate 180. This Transformed 4x4 Grid is updated according to the Transform selected to be applied to the top 4x4 Grid. 2B) Click Invert to choose whether the Grid colours are Inverted. 3) Remix to Save your pattern. Share your design in the Tessellator studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/3439903/ Extra Notes: i) After selecting a Mini Square Design you can place it in many positions in the 4x4 Grid. ii) You cannot place Mini Square Designs in the Transformed 4x4 Grid. This grid is filled automatically from the top 4x4 grid. iii) If you select "Rotate 90" twice, the pattern will still only be rotated 90 once. The Transform selected is applied to the top 4x4 Grid, not the Transformed 4x4 Grid
