- - - - - *When you make art you're actually proud of* - - - - - I've been meaning to share my process for a while so here it is :DD (no stealy- only @-lilaq may use this) - - - - - Full screen recommended - - - - - 1. Get reference (ref art by @-lilaq) and draw a sketch :) don't try to make it perfect, let it flow. I usually draw it in ref 2. H a i r. I draw it in a different color to separate them. 3. Clothes. Add lines for wrinkles and stuff when clothes are clumped together 4. Face expression :00 5. Merge layers and lower opacity. Flip the canvas to check for mistakes 6. Create a new layer and draw the lineart 7. Hide/delete the sketch 8. New layer. Color pick the colors from the ref :) 9. E y e s 10. Shading B)) Draw a light source. Add another layer above the flat colors and clip it. Color burn or Multiply, whichever looks best. 11. Yeah so originally I though- YEY IM DONE- but then I was like, this is lilac, you deserves art with a decent background 12. I got the ruler and added a lot of lines to make it look like a beach and sunset. 13. Unhide previous art. "Wow, this looks pretty neat, I must be done by now right??" 14. NOPE. I added a blue layer with soft light,, I think? 15. Another filter, this time something to make it darker. 16. 70% soft light. 43% color burn. 17. Watermark.
