Drople

Game Introduction

I've really been enjoying playing Wordle over the last couple of months. I've also been enjoying thinking about weird possible remixes of Wordle! That's where this project came from. ==Credits== Based off of @colinmacc's Scratch version of Wordle! The score and time are displayed using modified scripts from @-N6- 's project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/89235303/#editor Word lists: - Scrabble word list: https://github.com/hzlzh/Domain-Name-List/blob/master/3-letter-words.txt - Common word list: https://gist.github.com/deekayen/4148741 These are the same lists that I used in my project Word Puzzle: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/319889224/ #game

How To Play

What would happen if you combined Wordle with a catch game? Maybe this! In Wordle, you try to minimize your guesses, but in Drople, try to catch as many 3-letter English words as you can. Each game, there is a different "answer"-- the closer you get to it, the more points you get. Don't catch words that aren't English words! (Everything in the Scrabble dictionary counts.) Meaning of the colors: - Gray: The letter is not in the answer - Green: The letter is in the answer, in that spot - Yellow: The letter is in the answer, but not in that spot. (The logic is slightly different than it Wordle, you'll see!)
