Dance before you die- Loki's Interview

Game Introduction

"Nothing. Nothing at all, darling~" And with that, the piano thudded on heavy keys, it's howl of a song ringing through the stage. The flute backed it up, trilling it's grace. Loki pushed the other cat way, and twirled, his cloak surrounding him. The crowd gasped lightly. The green surrounded him like a fire, seeming to whirl around the golden crown that shown upon his head. He stopped, opened his eyes delicately, charisma shown deep within their depths. He gazed at them through long black eyelashes. Normally, he wouldn't have done a smoky eye, but his stylists had insisted. It made his hair look like a curtain, shielding the world from seeing past the window that was his eyes. He gracefully stretched out a paw, and caught a cat that was spinning by the wrist, pulling them into a dance. "Are you prepared for the games?" The question was simple. Loki didn't know the answer. He allowed himself to smirk, drawing up the mask to cover his uncertainty. He was good at this- he had been doing it for years. Sometimes he didn't even know he was doing it. "No one can be ready. But I'm as ready as I'll ever be.~" Loki spun once more, falling in line with the interviewer again. The music rose as the two of them spun around. The piano seeming to leap forth, jaws barred upon the ears of the audience. The flute and violin came, calming the piano, and eventually, the music faded. "Well I think that's all the time we have left!" The cats left the stage, and the interviewer returned to her seat. Loki bowed to the audience, waving his paw theatrically. "I hope you all enjoyed the show.~" And with that, he was off the stage. ((Idk if I'm allowed to do this, Idc >:DD)) Music- El tango de Roxanne by ??? How To Play

/Diiinnnng./ The crowd turned their heads, confused as the sound of fluttery music started up. The kind that twinkled- it sounded rich and royal, but like it had just come from a festive place of joy. It sounded like a fantasy. Soft bells chimed in the background while a flute and violin could be heard dancing in one another's wake. The fluttering of a forest green cloak could be caught in the half-light of the edge of the stage. A slender but strong figure came into view, the shades of green only seeming to glow as bright as the emeralds clasped around his neck. His long black hair flowed down and around his shoulders- it had gotten a bit longer since the parade, and Loki had let it. A golden crown sat a upon his head, this time much more royal than it had been last. His movement was graceful as he offered the interviewer a paw. The audience talked in whispers- both confused and intrigued. "I think I need no introduction.~" Loki's voice sent shivers of shouts of recognition through the crowd. "But I shall introduce myself anyway!~" With this, he pulled the stunned interviewer to their paws, guiding them along in a dance- one that he was familiar with. Coming from a rich family had it's perks. "My name is Loki Blanc, and today, I am here to entertain.~ Many shall walk up on this stage, and announce themselves victor, I do not need to. I shall not make false promises of glory- instead, I shall give you a taste of it." The music swelled up, and Loki twirled the interviewer to his side, gesturing to the crowd with his other gloved paw. "You are invited onto the stage if you wish to come.~" Loki's voice was it's usual charming tone, this time containing a bit of welcome as well. "Feel free to ask me whatever you wish, my loves.~" At this, Loki winked, and there were several adoring screams throughout the crowd. The music seemed to leap forward, becoming even more joyous than it had been previously- like a bird in the early spring, who is so elated with all the new life, it cannot help but fly in a way that almost looks to be a graceful dance. A huge group of cats padded up onto stage, falling into a dance. The interviewer stared up at him, absolutely floored. "I thought I might as well make this far more interesting, I can only imagine how bored you get sometimes." Loki addressed her. The interviewer laughed nervously, and the crowd chuckled at her. "Well, I suppose this means I get the first question.." She trailed off, several whoops from the crowd. "Do you expect to make it far into the arena- or perhaps even win?" Loki chuckled lightly as he guided the interviewer in the next few steps of the dance- "I will not say that I am certain, but If I play this right, then perhaps. Either way, you all are in for a show.~" The music shifted, and Loki allowed the interviewer to spin into the cat next to them, changing partners. The cat stared him down as they danced, eyes intense. "I've seen so many tributes live on listlessly- So I'm curious, and I ought to ask. What do you believe it means to be good?" He raised an eyebrow at the cat, surprised by the question. "Well, I'm no expert.." He trailed off chuckling. The audience did the same. "But... I've seen things, so.. being good is through the soul- it's something a cat has to want deeply. It's the kind of love that stands even after the wreck- it's not angry or hurtful- it's beautiful. I may be thinking of goodness in grand proportions, but maybe that's why I have such a hard time being good. I have hard time being what I want- cats, including I, place such heavy expectations on the word good....it becomes a weight. Being good carries that weight." The cat stared at him, surprised at how long of an answer he'd gotten from the tribute. Loki smiled charmingly back, and traded partners once more. "I'm.... looking for a tribute to sponsor, I have... trouble predicting the winner. What do you think it takes for a tribute to win?" Loki let out a breath as the question was asked, and just at that moment, the piano seemed to back him up, the notes thudding heavily through the huge room. "I think it takes determination. It doesn't have to be the determination to win itself- the cat just has to want something so deeply that nothing can stop them. Strength and skill follow that determination. I saw that determination fade in my half-brother in these games, and when that faded.... he died." With that, the other cat was pulled away by another partner. Loki turned, his cloak fluttering at his feet as he did so. He was met with another cat. He was surprised when they pressed close, their grip upon his hand like steal. "What makes you worthy enough of our attention? Worthy enough to be victor? We all watched you volunteer, after all." Loki was surprised by the intensity at which the other cat held themselves. He decided to match it. He leaned in, pressing their foreheads together. His gaze blazing, he spoke through gritted teeth.
