(click to zoom) alr, so Lefki's old ref is gross (the artstyle is weird, the palette is boring, and the design is not well fleshed out.) because of this, I've decided to make a new ref for her since she's my main OC :v [ Edit: She's not immortal. She can show herself to mortals voluntarily, but it weakens her greatly. She can not die within the limits of Valhalla, but she can die in other realms. When/if she dies, she can't be revivied into Valhalla like mortals who die in battle. ] --- [ Bio ] Gender // female Pronouns // she/her Species // ferret + valkyrie Personality // Tends to be pretty awkward around most people, but will opens up and gets loud around friends and family. More book smart than street smart, but can be pretty dumb sometimes. Likes // friends, reading, adventure, sarcasm Dislikes // acting, strangers, loud places, disobedient people Backstory // Lefki lay sprawled on the ground, her breathing faint. Her head ached with pain. She could feel herself slipping away, but she fought to stay alive. Darkness ebbed at the edges of her vision. She gave in. When she woke up, all her pain was gone. She pulled herself to her feet and looked around. And old being stood beside her, beaming. "Welcome to the After." Lefki stared at him. "What...?" "You're dead," he said simply. Lefki stood in shock. "But... I don't want to be dead. I want to go back." Her voice caught in her throat. "I'm afraid that would be nearly impossible," he said solemnly. "Nearly?" she wondered. The man stared at her, sizing her up. "There is away to go back, but most choose not to." "I'll take it!" Lefki said eagerly, her face lighting up. "It's not so simple," he explained. "There are certain... sacrifices you have to make." She nodded. "I know." He hesitated, then continued. "You'd have to bring the dead back here, for the rest of eternity." A spark lit up in Lefki's eyes. "I'd be a valkyrie?!" she exclaimed. "I'll do it." "Are you... sure?" he asked. "Only the dead will be able to see you. You'd see your loved ones die." "I'll do it," she repeated resolutely.
