Game Introduction
Credits to that scrolling background video on the scratch team youtube channel. I recommend playing with a mouse. (scratch that, PLAY WITH A MOUSE AND KEYBOARD, or you will not win, probably. Change Log (ordered oldest to newest) 9/15/2022 Made basic gameplay. Also added some event when boulders are clicked. v1.0 9/16/2022 No more event when rocks are clicked because it led to a glitch where the rock wouldn't move. Made it so that the boulders made a funny noise when clicked. Amped up difficulty. Random rock sizes. Tried adding bullets, but didn't fit the game. v1.1 9/18/2022 Massive overhaul. Added restart screen, particles, and the ability to destroy rocks by pressing E. Also decided to make holding a rock over another rock to make a sound as a "feature," so now if you're into drums, you can just use those rocks for a while, I guess. v1.2 9/23/2022 Thumbnail added, or as I like to call it, the DUMNAIL, because why not, and painstakingly fit everything to work with that. Also revamped the background. And discovered that I, being dumb, had completely forgot the fact that scratch allows you to have a gradient with one color being empty. Well, added that in. v1.3 9/26/2022 The Space Age of Piracy is here! Added boarder pirates, erratic enemy ships that are a bit more successful at hitting the player than the boulders. Deserves its own update. SO COOL! Also added adaptive music... yay! v1.4 1/14/2024 Well, gosh, I posted this a long time ago, didn't I? Well, I'm back! I've added a reason to have adaptive music, which is difficulty ramping, plus a timer and high score, like people have been asking. v1.5 6/22/2024 Added the ability to turn pirates around and explode them, though it aint fleshed out. v1.55 6/23/2024 Pirates on death route now destroy oncoming asteroids
How To Play
Kargo is a very basic game. The goal is to make sure the cargo ship doesn't get destroyed. All you need to do is drag the objects out of the way using the mouse. Hold pirates for a time and rocket them towards oncoming debris, destroying them. Survive for as long as possible, or until you get bored, I guess.
