Conflictus Europa 2.1: AI Update

Game Introduction

Notes: I realized when I was making this that it was more like a gigantic update rather than a sequel. Still, there's a ton of new features, like a title screen, a coin system, a button to trade weapons, a button to unify with countries, a button to fund rebels, much better graphics, achievements, more countries to play as, more countries that appear, and so much more! Walkthrough: Wait for the project to load. Select your time period that you want to play in (1914, 1938, or present day). Then select your country by clicking the arrows. Then, you will find a map of Europe. The nation you are playing as should be flashing bright. Click the tab with the sillhouette in the center left. This shows you your stats. Increasing recruitment and troops gives more military strength. Increasing industry and infrastructure gives you more money per second and makes the population like you. To start, wait until you have enough money, and then start using some upgrades. Make sure you have enough money, if you don’t then you will lose due to the explosions that occur throughout the map. Exit this tab and open the tab on the left with 3 lines. It will show you other countries. Click around and explore. Then, click on the flag that appears every time you click a country. It will show the stats of every country. You can make relations with them, deplete their strength by funding rebels, or declare war! If you want to declare war, make sure your strength percentage is larger than theirs, and then click the button that says DECLARE WAR. After a few seconds, the result of the war will appear. If you win, you will get the land of the country you beat. If you lose, your popularity will decrease. Don’t lose too many wars! Your population might overthrow you or you might become weak and fall to invaders! Money also decreases during war! The objective is to take over all of Europe through war! Can you conquer Europe? Credits: Music from https://audionautix.com/, @minimonsters, and Nintendo. Sound effects from @applepiesleth. European map by me (took me 2 hours to draw). Flags from Wikipedia. Thumbnail text from textcraft.com. All other art created in the scratch vector by me. All code by me. Updates: 2.0.6 (9/24/22): Fixed a glitch causing Kosovo to spawn in the wrong area. Removed annoying Transnistria from the game. 2.0.7 (9/24/22): Relocated and altered some achievement-related code into another sprite for preparation to get to 2.1. Also added a feature to press "m" to mute music, will work on adding it to mobile controls. 2.0.8 (9/25/22) Changed the primary provinces for Italy and Greece. Finished up with the removal of Transnistria. 2.0.9 (10/1/22) Added Crimea and started creating AI 2.1 (10/2/22) Added Prussia and finished formatting AI. Fixed country strength bugs. Trivia: This was originally going to be called “Imperium Europa” but that’s the name of a Maltese fascist party, so it was changed to Conflictus Europa. In the costume titled Bankruptcy (in the Endings sprite), you may find something if you remove the Great Depression photo… Many flags of the nations included were never used by the nations and are actually flags of the ethnic groups living there (Belarus), or are naval flags (Luxembourg)! Due to a joke request by @quatrz56, the Papal States were added, however it is very rare to see them gain independence. The map on the thumbnail is from the Italian-French border (WW2) Some users have personalized splash texts, and splash texts also change depending on the date. There were originally going to be more achievements based around money, but they were changed so that they also incorporated popularity and strength. A secret hidden feature is included where if you get to 100% relations with a country, you can unify with them. This is my first project with 2k+ blocks. Tags: #all

How To Play

Welcome to Conflictus Europa 2.1! It’s the game where you can easily obliterate the nations of Europe without a care. Support me by loving and favoriting the project, and PLEASE tell me bugs in the comments. Any questions about this project are also appreciated and will probably be answered. Do not advertise, or you will be reported. Due to a lack of motivation and ideas CE3 will probably not be released until I can figure out how cloud works. However, CE2.2 could be a likely release, and could include save codes and settings. CE2.3 could add stock market crashes and natural disasters,. Now go read the stuff down there vv
