- Here’s my entry for Kumiko! I hope you like it :) - I only decided to enter after the deadline was extended so I didn’t have time to do much, I was going to do an animation but that didn’t happen XD Space/Arrow Keys/Arrows on Screen to navigate Click to zoom Bio: Name: Kumiko Pronouns: She/her Likes: Nighttime, stargazing Dislikes: Other people, Happy things, Nature Backstory: Kumiko had always thought she was an ordinary girl until that day. That day when everything came crashing down. She’d stumbled across a sunny meadow, full of lush grass and flowers, flitting butterflies and squirrels. She was in awe. Never had she seen somewhere so breathtakingly beautiful. All her life she had been kept in an abandoned part of the city, away from other people. Walking forward, she reached out to try and touch a flower, when everything started turning black. The grass beneath her feet rotted and died, butterflies fell to the ground, flowers withered. Gasping, she flinched back, but the damage could not be undone. Wither was rushing across the entire meadow, at just the touch of her hand. Guilt flooded through her. What had she done? A last butterfly struggled to flap away, but it fell to the ground, dead. The whole meadow was dead, all because of her. Later that day, her parents discovered what she had done. “You monster!” They could not bare what their daughter was, and scarred her face, terrified of her. Since then, Kumiko had wandered alone, staying away from anybody, anything, swallowed by hate and guilt. She longed to get revenge on the parents who had abandoned her, the world that had shunned her. One day, she would use this power and she would make them all sorry. One day, the world would be hers.
