Game Introduction
I started this project to implement true wraparound for objects leaving the edge of the screen, succeeded and then realised the original arcade game didn't use that at all! I decided to turn this into a full project anyway. It features both a classic Asteroids arcade version as well as a more modern implementation! It's also come to my notice that while the player does get points when destroying objects by colliding with them, they shouldn't score when the UFOs collide with or shoot asteroids. Too late to change that now as it would affect the dynamics of the leaderboards. I kinda like it anyway :) Thanks for pointing this out, @geek62 The classic version's sprites and sound effects are from the original arcade game.
