Disclaimer: If you're confused as to how Ivy and Josy can walk on water, they are demigods who live human lives and they watch over Ivy's younger human brother with cancer. (Here's the story if you can't read the font): I look over at her. She's my candle in the darkness, my hero in a world of villains. My girlfriend. "Josy, why are you looking at me like you just saw a sunset?" Ivy joked. "Because, you're just as beautiful as one." I kiss her. She smiles. We look at the sunset, laying on a large towel on the beach. I had to have a kidney transplant, and Ivy was my donor. Ever since then, we've been in love. "Would you like to go surfing tomorrow?" Ivy asked me. Oh my gosh, I'll never get over how gentle her stunning voice is. "Yes." I reply with a grin. I look back behind us to look at the building where we live. It's a condo, and it's home. "Are we bringing Nova?" I ask. She laughs. "Of course we're bringing Nova. You know how much she loves the water." Nova is our black labrador retriever puppy, and she is the sweetest goofball in the world. "Ivy, should we invite your brother too?" I think of Quinn, her little brother. He was recently diagnosed with cancer. Ivy frowns a little. "Yes, we definitely should, thank you for thinking about him." Ivy miles, looking like she is in pain. I can't blame her. "Well lets go home. Not to our condo, our REAL home." I tell her. She smiles. We walk on the water, into the sunset.
