Trần Dynasty (1225 - 1400) was one of the longest reigning dynasties in Vietnam's history. They are known for their 3 consecutive victories against the Mongols. In case you're wondering, what does "emptied houses" do? It's a strategy used back then to make sure that the enemy won't have any food and resources to take after they ran out of their own resources. The enemy will then weaken while you can start attacking. That's how the Trần Dynasty defeated the Mongol Empire as a small country.
