Game Introduction
I made another. Ha. This was pretty fun to do, so if people still want to see the story, I’ll probably make more. Here’s a few things to lay out, now that I suppose I’m actually committing to this comic at least slightly: - I have read exactly two Warriors books. Then I got bored and stopped. However, I am quite familiar with the basics of how things work due to the outrageous amounts of fan content I consume. Thus to say, some things in this comic aren’t going to line up exactly with how they’re portrayed in the original series. For instance, the clans in this world are located in a different area than in the Warriors books. Why? Because I wanted to go crazy with worldbuilding without being constrained by the original series. So please don’t correct me about anything here that doesn’t match up with the books, it’s either purposeful, or I just don’t care :’) - I am an atheist writing about an afterlife. This will be somewhat biased to my personal opinions. This story is in no way propaganda, or purely a vessel to share my beliefs. I completely welcome all opinions and beliefs on this matter, and I encourage you to discover your own beliefs for yourself, outside of whatever I say in the comic. I won’t shy away from putting my own opinions in this comic, but I am by no means trying to convince you to believe what I believe. If you do agree with me, that’s great, and if you don’t, that’s perfectly fine too. Please avoid arguments about religion in the comments, everyone is welcome to read and enjoy this comic. (I should note that religion is not a major plot point of this story, but it does serve a role. And a disclaimer is probably wise just in case.) - There’s going to be a lot of queer characters. And trans characters. And polyamorous characters. If any of these things bother you, then I’d suggest finding a different comic, this may not be the one for you. - This comic will deal with some fairly dark themes. Precise content warnings will appear with any particularly sensitive chapter, but here are some general themes that will be seen: -Death -Coping with loss -Gender dysphoria -Insecurities -Generally messed up people (by people I mean cats) -Minor ableism -Scarring and (unnaturally colored) blood -Bad parenting -Nuanced views of good and evil -Others will be noted at the chapters they appear - Feel free to share your opinions on characters, theories, fan art, suggestions or ideas of where you want the plot to go, etc. I likely won’t implement any fan suggestions, however there’s always the chance if I really like your idea! You as an audience engaging with and enjoying my story is the best way for me to keep up motivation :) - Updates will be on Mondays.
