How To Play
Wow, a real chapter to a real comic? Insane. Anyways, welcome to The Faded! I'd explain what it is, but spoilers. Yknow? The most you get is its an AU, none of this is canon to these character's universes except for one, and they are not one of the characters you'll meet in the prologues. An AU featuring several OCs, so it's a crossover kinda. Not trying to worry too much on art quality. If I do, they'll never get posted. Bit of a backstory on Ash (I don't plan to make anything of her story, so no spoilers for anything in the future. HOWEVER, some stuff may be subject to change.) Ashlynn lives in a world in which most people have pointed ears, ocasionally some have a tail and/or horns. Ashlynn, has both a tail and horns, although her ears are odd dragon-feline like things. She begins receiving odd visions and dreams, and eventually meets a woman named Autumn (she can be seen on page 3, frame 2) at some train tracks. Little did she know, Autumn would play a massive role in her life. Ashlynn has been living in a simulated version of her real world. In reality, she has been missing from that real world. She realizes, and tries to fight for her way back. She makes some friends along the way, who offer help. However Autumn holds the ability to execute them from this world, and she does so to one of them. Eventually they defeat her blah blah blah. That friend does not come back to that world. She is given the option of rebuilding her life in the simulated world, or going back to the real world. With a 85% chance that no one will remember her, everyone will have thought she'd been missing. That 15%? Everyone keeps their memories of her from that simulation. She decides to take the chance and gets lucky, she keeps her friends, and also keeps her scars. She doesn't know if her friends remember anything (they do, they just don't want to mention it for obvious reason), but she doesnt bring it up or ask. Anyways, Prologue 2 should be out soon, no guaranteed date but I'll try my best to get it out before two weeks pass. There's four prologues.
